Sarah Thom
Actor, Voice-Over, Creative & Trainer
I have worked in the performance industry for 25 years. As an actor on stage and screen, and - after winning the Norman Beaton Fellowship in 2012 - regularly on BBC Radio 4 - most prominently as Joan in the long-running sitcom, 'Clare in the Community'. I freelance as a director and a university lecturer, and am also currently a regular facilitator on the Theatreworks programme at the National Theatre, coaching professionals from all backgrounds on their personal impact and presentation skills. I originally trained at Exeter University Drama Department and with Jacques Lecoq in Paris.
"The irony is that by playing a bad actor Thom proves that she is a fantastic one thanks to this brilliantly written, wholly believable and very funny tragi-comic creation"
